Effort To Recall Russell Pearce Meets Opposition

MESA, Ariz. — The group behind an effort to remove Arizona state Sen. Russell Pearce is taking their cause door to door, but supporters of the controversial lawmaker are also organizing their own counter-protest.

“We’re here every day collecting signatures outside the Mesa public library,” Geoff Esposito with Citizens for a Better Arizona said.
